White Flower

Starting with a flat piece of clay, carving tools are used to create a flower image with high and low areas called a bas relief. once dried and fire the clay tile is painted, fired a second time, adhered to a board, and finished my adding glass and clay tiles to embellish the finished piece. This measures 8" x 8" and is best displayed indoors.
